Zit graag aan de bosrand te knabbelen. In het voorjaar zie je moedertjes met jonkies!

💡 Vroeg in de ochtend of in de avond bij de weilanden.

Groter dan konijn, langere oren en poten. De maartshaas doet rare capriolen!

💡 Open veld bij schemering. Rent veel harder dan een konijn.

Sluipend roofdier actief in de nacht. Te herkennen aan witte vlek op de keel.

💡 Nacht, bij gebouwen en bosranden. Vaker te horen dan te zien.

Fladderen bij schemering laag boven de wei. Eten muggen op.

💡 Direct na zonsondergang boven het water of de weilanden.
